It was an eventful night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian Saturday after a driver crashed head-on into another car, flipping it and instigating an adrenaline-fueled fistfight afterward.

Mississippi photographer Bud Davis shared video of the crash on social media during what appears to be a caution lap. As Louisiana driver Cade Dillard’s car creeps forward, a GoPro strapped onto another car’s back bumper captures Arkansas driver Jack Sullivan colliding with Dillard, completely flipping the car on the track.

A video shot shortly after the crash shows crew members and emergency workers working to retrieve Dillard from the car as Sullivan’s car sits parked nearby.

Moments after Dillard leaves the car and shows the crowd he’s OK, all hell breaks loose as he charges toward Sullivan’s car and starts throwing punches.

The circumstances that led to the initial crash are unclear, but it seems both drivers walked away without serious injury.
