Two popular Southern fashion/lifestyle bloggers are heading to Mississippi this week to discuss their unconventional career climb.

Kathleen Barnes, creator of Carrie Bradshaw Lied, is an Ole Miss alum currently living in California.

Ole Miss alumna Kathleen Barnes, the creative force behind Carrie Bradshaw Lied, and Haute Off the Rack creator Jennifer Palpallatoc will be on site for a meet and greet at Frock Fashions in Oxford Thursday, Nov. 2 from 4-7 p.m.
With more than 560,000 combined Instagram followers, Barnes and Palpallatoc have built brands out of sharing budget-friendly upscale style tips.
“They both have a huge following among college-age girls and are a wonderful example of class and style,” said Jacqueline Holmes, president of Frock Fashions. “So many young women suffer from low self-esteem and worry about finding their way once they leave college. We need to serve up as many examples of success and stories of women who enjoy their careers as possible.”

There will be refreshments and an opportunity to browse Frock’s latest fall inventory.
“We are hoping for an evening of fun and to show off what a wonderful town we have here in Oxford,” Holmes said. “It’s going to be a great time so everyone needs to join us and show Kathleen and Jennifer some great Oxford hospitality.”
