ESPN broke down Michigan's chances against Mississippi State in the Outback Bowl even though they're playing South Carolina

If there’s one complaint Mississippi football fans consistently have against ESPN’s coverage, it’s that the sports network’s commentators can’t ever seem to remember that Ole Miss and Mississippi State are not the same school.
Now they can add another to the list following a Sunday night bowl segment in which reporters broke down the upcoming Outback Bowl matchup between Michigan and Mississippi State.
Only one problem: Mississippi State’s not playing in that game. South Carolina is.
Check out the segment, which somehow has the right team matchup on the graphic, but shows Mississippi State footage and includes commentary suggesting the Wolverines’ offense will struggle against MSU running back Aeris Williams.

It’s the second time in a week ESPN ruffled the feathers of Gamecocks fans following an unfortunate logo mixup days earlier when South Carolina was represented by the official symbol of South Carolina State.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will play Louisville (8-4) in the Taxslayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida, on Dec. 30. The game will be televised by, of course, ESPN.
