Tennessee officials pulled the body of a Mississippi man from the Tennessee River Thursday morning after a boating accident.

Officers with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were called to investigate an incident that happened Wednesday below Pickwick Dam.

Investigators believe Jeffery Dilworth. 56. of Rienzi, Mississippi, was fishing alone in a 16-foot aluminum jon boat when the boat became swamped by water.

Dilworth’s body was located at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday.
