Country music artist Garth Brooks is planning to speak to school children in Mississippi.
The Clarion Ledger reports that Brooks will discuss the “The Power of Songwriting” at the Grammy Museum in Cleveland, Mississippi, on Sept. 24.
The event is part of the museum’s “Backstage Pass” series. It will involve more than 140 local students who will hear Brooks speak, answer questions and perform.
Bob Santelli, the founding executive director of the Grammy Museum, will moderate the event.
The students range from 11 to 18 years old and are from schools and arts and education programs throughout Mississippi.
