Mississippi police officer charged with exploitation of a minor

An officer with the Jackson Police Department has been arrested, the city reported.
The unidentified officer was reportedly placed on administrative leave until an internal investigation is completed for the accusation considered “conduct unbecoming an officer.”
The officer is charged with exploitation of a minor. The Hinds County District Attorney’s Office will investigate the matter, police officials sayd.
“Because this is an open investigation involving a minor, no other information is available,” police officials said in a news release, Jackson media reported..
