A teenager was killed and three other people were injured in a drive-by shooting Wednesday in Goodman.

Clyzavion Landfair, 17, was pronounced dead after arriving at a local hospital, according to WLBT-TV. He was a football and basketball player at Holmes County Central High School.

Holmes County sheriff Willie March told WJTV-TV that the shooting occurred around noon Wednesday at the BP gas station on U.S. 51 in Goodman. March said between 50 and 60 shots were fired from one vehicle into the other.

The car Landfair was in drove away and was chased by the other car for about a quarter mile.

Holmes County Coroner Dexter Howard said Landfair’s body has been sent to the state crime lab for autopsy.
