Two Mississippi men are behind bars for allegedly contacting minors online and engaging in lewd conversations, according to a news release from Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office in Vidalia, Louisiana.
Dayquan Banks, 24, of Fayette, reportedly arranged to meet a minor in the online chats when he was taken into custody instead at their planned meeting place.
Investigators identified another suspect as Richard Dylan Collier, 21, of Natchez. CPSO detectives assisted by Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested him at his residence earlier this week without incident.
Collier allegedly sent the child sexually explicit photos of himself and requested the same in return.
Concordia Parish Sheriff David Hedrick thanked Sheriff Travis Patten and ACSO detectives for their assistance in this matter.
Collier is charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Banks also faces an indecent behavior with a juvenile charge.
Anyone arrested is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
