A 41-year-old Mississippi man died from injuries suffered in a weekend vehicle crash.

The Mississippi Highway reports that Jeremy Hariel, of Perkinston, died after the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and collided with a fence.

MHP responded to the wreck at 7 p.m. Friday on Mississippi 53 in Harrison County.

When troopers arrived at the scene, they found a 2014 Chevrolet pickup driven by Hariel traveling south on Mississippi 53 when the truck left the highway near Road 401 and hit a fence.

Hariel received fatal injuries in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
