WINTER WEATHER UPDATE: 30 Mississippi counties reporting snow, ice on bridges and roads

Early Monday morning, many counties in the northern half of Mississippi were reporting snow and ice on roads and bridges.
The 6 a.m. update from the Mississippi Department of Transportation:
As of 6 a.m. on January 15, there are 30 counties with reports of ice on roads and bridges, and winter weather is still ongoing.
With hazardous road conditions and frigid temperatures, please only travel if necessary and use EXTREME caution if you must get out in these conditions!
Counties currently experiencing ice include Alcorn, Benton, Bolivar, Calhoun, Carroll, Chickasaw, Coahoma, DeSoto, Grenada, Issaquena, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Leflore, Marshall, Monroe, Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Sharkey, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union, Washington, and Yalobusha.
