A Missississippi man has succumbed to injuries he suffered from a January industrial accident.

WLOX in Biloxi reports that Tyde Woody, 25, of Hancock County, has been identified as the victim of a fatal accident at a facility operated by Jindal Tubular USA, LLC. at the Hancock County Port Bienville Industrial Park.

Woody was transported to a Slidell, Louisiana, hospital following the incident which occurred on Jan. 19. Woody was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The preliminary cause of death is listed as multiple blunt force injuries pending an autopsy scheduled for next week.

One other person was also injured during the incident and was flown to a New Orleans hospital. His status is unknown at this time.
