Authorities are searching for clues and suspects after a man was found dead after being shot multiple times inside his Mississippi apartment Thursday.

WLBT in Jackson reports that Jackson Police found Javoris Marquez Gibson, 27, lying on the floor of his apartment at Windsor Park Apartments on Clinton Boulevard in Jackson.

Police have not identified any suspects in the case and continue to investigate the death, the 21st homicide in Jackson in 2024.
