One of Mississippi’s most-celebrated neighborhood restaurants and “living room” is celebrating 15 years of eating excellence with a shrimp boil and party.
Snackbar is celebrating its 15th anniversary in Oxford this month and will be holding a shrimp boil and party to celebrate.
The anniversary celebration will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on April 14.
Guests will enjoy live music, food and drinks. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to LovePacks of Oxford, a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding hungry children in the Oxford and Lafayette County communities.
Founded in 2009 by Chef John Currence, and today led by 2019 James Beard “Best Chef: South” winner Vishwesh Bhatt, Snackbar has become a popular neighborhood restaurant and “living room.”
The Southern Brasserie prides itself on using local Mississippi ingredients whenever possible, serving the freshest raw oysters from around the country, artfully crafted cocktails, and fine internationally-inspired food.
Tickets are $50 and are available on Eventbrite.
