A Mississippi man has been arrested in connection with a November commercial burglary that resulted in the theft of cash, luxury items and electronics.

The Oxford Police Department arrested Octavious McMullen, 24, of Abbeville.

In early November 2023, the Oxford Police Department took multiple reports regarding a commercial burglary near Sisk Avenue.

Several cars were broken into with cash, luxury items, and electronics missing.

Upon investigation, McMullen was charged with three counts of Commercial Burglary and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

McMullen was taken before a Municipal Court judge for an initial bond hearing and was issued a $30,000 bond and has had holds placed by other agencies.
