A Mississippi woman is facing multiple charges after she reportedly shot her husband multiple times.

WCBI in Columbus reports that at approximately 1 p.m., Saturday, April 27, Columbus police officers responded to the 800 block of North Lehmberg for a gunshot victim.

Police arrested Courtney Stewart Wiggly, 44, for aggravated domestic violence. She reportedly shot Daryl Wiggly, 54, multiple times in his arm and torso.

Daryl Wiggly was flown to a Jackson hospital for treatment.

Police say Courtney Wiggly is being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
