Sheriff: One person dead, at least 3 others injured at Mississippi night club shooting Sunday

One person is dead, and at least three others were injured in a shooting at a Mississippi night club Sunday night.
Officials with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred just before midnight at the Sugar Shack night club in Utica.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones reported on Twitter that there are at least four victims, including the deceased, in the shooting on Lee Davis Circle.
Jones posted that Jason Harris, 41, was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.
Jones also confirmed that one person was being detained for questioning and that the shooting reportedly stemmed from an altercation involving several individuals.

Jones wrote that two of the victims are stable and have been released from the hospital. One victim was transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and is in critical condition.
Jones said investigators are still gathering information and there could be at least one more victim.
