Mississippi man arrested for allegedly shooting son

A Mississippi man has been arrested after he reportedly shot his son.
William Robert Adams Sr., 54, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting on County Road 504 in Como.
On arrival, deputies found William Robert Adams Jr. in the living room of the home with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to a Memphis hospital for his injuries.
William Robert Adams Sr. was arrested and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $100,000 bond.
The victim is in stable condition and is expected to recover, according to the LCSO.
