A Mississippi man was killed Monday night in a one-car crash on a rural Mississippi highway.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 336 in Pontotoc County June 10 around 9:15 p.m.

The 2007 Toyota Avalon driven by Keith Wright, 38, of Pontotoc, was traveling west on Highway 336 when it left the roadway and overturned.

Wright received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
