Deputies believe that Hodges is a suspect in a series of car burglaries in Clay and Monrow counties.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, at least four cars were burglarized on TVA Road in West Point on Saturday. The debit card used at the vape shop was reportedly stolen from one of the vehicles Saturday.

When Hodges was arrested, deputies confiscated marijuana, a semi-automatic handgun, and a Glock switch. Officials say they found several other items reportedly stolen in other car burglaries.

Authorities are reminding people to lock their doors and to not leave valuables in the vehicle.
