Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey are sites any local resident and tourist would expect to see in London, England. But what about the Mighty Mississippi River?

Some 5,000 miles from the nearest riverboat steaming down the Mississippi River, taxi cab drivers in arguably one of the most-visited cities in Europe can catch a glimpse of hot-air balloons drifting across Old Man River.

Taxi cabs in London have been wrapped in a large advertisement promoting tourism in Mississippi. The promotion features a photograph from the Natchez Balloon Festival, an annual hot-air balloon event held on the third weekend in October. The image of colorful balloons drifting above the river also prominently features the Visit Mississippi logo and website.
