A Mississippi man became a Money Maker when he turned a $5 scratch-off purchase into a $100,000 win.

Officials from the Mississippi Lottery announced Monday that a lucky lottery player from Madison won the one of the two $100,000 prizes in the Money Maker scratch-off game.

The lucky player recently purchased his winning card from the Madison Texaco in Madison.

The other $100,000 top prize remains in the $5 scratch-off game. Several $5,000 and $2,000 prizes also remain in the Money Maker game.
