A Mississippi woman was arrested for the murder of her husband after he died in the hospital of a gunshot wound he suffered during a domestic dispute.

Semyia Jones, 25, was arrested by Kosciusko Police and charged with the murder of Markquarious Jones, 31.

Kosciusko Police were dispatched to the Baptist Attala Emergency Room around 1 p.m. Thursday.

Authorities report that Markquarious Jones had received a gunshot wound during a domestic issue with his wife, Semyia Jones.

Markquarious Jones later died at the hospital.

Semyia Jones was booked into the Leake County Jail on a $1 million bond.
