A UPS delivery driver in Georgia is being recognized as a hero after he sprang into action to help an elderly woman in distress.

WALB News in Valdosta, Georgia, reports that Raheem Cooper was on his delivery route when he spotted the woman collapsed in her driveway under the scorching 102-degree heat. Cooper immediately stopped, called 911, and began rendering aid until paramedics arrived.

Another passerby also assisted until the ambulance came about five minutes later. Cooper stayed with the woman until she was safely on a stretcher, then left his contact information for her family before continuing his route.
