A Mississippi woman was arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from a gas station she was working at in 2022.

The Tupelo Police Department reported on social media that officers arrested Julia L. Brown, 24, of Tupelo, on Wednesday on a Lee County Circuit Court warrant for embezzlement.

The charge stems from a 2022 incident where Brown, an employee at Savings Gas Station on 447 East Main Street, allegedly stole over $2,000 from the business.
