Three people have been arrested in a Mississippi weekend armed robbery.
A suspect in a weekend armed robbery in the Helena community is now in custody, according to Sheriff John Ledbetter. Dakkoda Stirewalt, 31, was apprehended on the evening of Monday, August 26, at a residence in George County. Stirewalt and his accomplice, 26-year-old Zane Frankum, have been charged with armed robbery after allegedly stealing an individual’s vehicle, which investigators have since recovered.
Stirewalt, who was recently released from prison, is also facing additional charges for violating his probation. Authorities also arrested the homeowner, 42-year-old Michelle Walker, for hindering prosecution by harboring Stirewalt, a known fugitive.
All three suspects are currently held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. Frankum was denied bond during a hearing on Monday. Stirewalt and Walker remain in custody without bond as they await their initial court appearances.
