Man’s body discovered in Mississippi lake after deputies receive call about truck sitting in water for hours

A man’s body was found in a Mississippi lake after deputies received a call that a truck had been sitting in the lake for hours.
Officials with the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office report that the man’s body was found in Moonlake, about 3 miles south of Lula.
The body was recovered from the lake shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim, who was not identified, apparently entered the water to try to recover his boat.
