Two teenagers have been arrested after a Mississippi homeowner reportedly arrived to find the two suspects inside his house, one of who was armed with one of the homeowner’s firearms.

The arrests of 18-year-old Ethan Paul Felder of Clinton and a 16-year-old juvenile from Warren County were made last week following an interrupted burglary in Warren County.

The Vicksburg Post reports that Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home in the 1600 block of Ring Road on Sept. 15 around 3 p.m. after receiving a call about suspicious activity.

The homeowner told deputies that upon arriving home, he found two individuals inside, one of whom was armed with one of his firearms. When confronted by the resident, the suspects dropped the weapon and fled the scene.

Within an hour of the incident, Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies apprehended both suspects. The 16-year-old juvenile was placed in the Warren County Youth Detention Center, while Felder was booked into the Warren County Jail on a $30,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Randy Lewis.

Felder is not eligible for bond due to outstanding warrants in Clinton for separate charges, including burglary and auto theft.
