A Mississippi 13-year-old was killed during a weekend ATV accident.

Officials in Simpson County report that the boy was killed in a crash Sunday while riding an ATV in the Ole Pearl community.

First responders came to offer medical aid to the teen, who died from his injuries.

Officials have not identified the teen or the circumstances behind the crash.
