A Mississippi man died following a weekend tw0-vehicle crash.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol report that Jerry Etheridge, 78, of Booneville, was killed in a wreck Friday in Alcorn County.

The crash occurred at Highway 45 and County Road 512, north of Biggersville.

Etheridge was reportedly traveling south on Highway 45 when he collided with a second vehicle trying to cross the highway from County Road 512.

Etheridge was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

No information was provided for the driver of the second vehicle.
