An Arkansas man is in custody after reportedly kidnapping a 16-year-old Mississippi teen who went missing on Sunday.
Authorities had been looking for 16-year-old John Michael Jones, who was reported missing on Sunday from his Brandon home.
Officials say Jones had been lured online to meet someone down the road from his home.
Authorities issued a Be On the Look Out (B.O.L.O.) for Kaleb James Cannady, 34, who was identified as a suspect.
Cannady’s vehicle was located in Arkansas shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday, October 28.
Deputies said Jones was found safe and is now in the custody of Arkansas State Police.
Cannady was arrested for active warrants through the Rankin County Court. Cannady will face extradition back to Rankin County on charges of enticement and kidnapping.
