A Mississippi man is now in custody after being on the run for two days after he reportedly shot and killed his wife and another person inside a Gulfport house.
According to a social media post by the Gulport Police Department, Christopher Antoine Davis was taken into custody Thanksgiving night.
Police say that Davis killed his 50-year-old wife, Elana Davis, and 52-year-old Koritnik Graves. The two victims were found inside a home on Graves Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.
Elena Davis had previously filed a protection order against Christopher Davis, who was wanted on domestic violence charges out of D’Iberville. Elena Davis has been reportedly staying with GRaves at the time of the murder to hide from Christopher Davis.
Christopher Davis had reportedly tried to burn down her house in the Pine Haven neighborhood near Highway 67 on the Gulf Coast. The Harrison County Fire Rescue and Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the house fire as an arson incident. However, no warrants have been issued related to the fire.
