Authorities are working to track down suspects after a 2023 white Chevrolet Silverado, stolen during a carjacking and robbery in Jackson, was recovered in Adams County on Thursday.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said deputies located the truck at a residence on Flowers Road. When they found it, the original tag had been removed and replaced with a temporary tag from a local dealership.

Investigators are now processing the vehicle for evidence and interviewing witnesses. Patten said his department is coordinating with the Jackson Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division to identify and apprehend those responsible.
