The wait is over—Vicious Biscuit, the award-winning fast-casual breakfast franchise known for its bold, scratch-made biscuit creations, is officially opening its doors in Hattiesburg this week. The highly anticipated restaurant will celebrate with a series of special events leading up to its grand opening on Saturday, April 5.

As part of its opening week festivities, Vicious Biscuit is honoring local heroes with a “Thankful Thursday” event on April 3. From 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., all active and retired military members, as well as first responders—including police, firefighters, EMS, and other emergency personnel—will receive a free entrée with a valid photo ID. This initiative is part of Vicious Biscuit’s ongoing commitment to giving back; in 2024, the brand increased its military and first responder discount to 20% year-round, up from the previous 10%.

The celebrations continue on Friday, April 4, at 11 a.m., with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Area Development Partnership for Greater Hattiesburg. Local businesses and community leaders are invited to join the Vicious Biscuit corporate team in welcoming the restaurant to the area.

Grand Opening Details – Saturday, April 5

Vicious Biscuit will mark its official grand opening on Saturday, April 5, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a special giveaway for the first 100 families or individuals in line. Each will receive an exclusive Vicious Biscuit swag bag containing:

The new Hattiesburg location will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
