Two men charged with murder after body of Mississippi man discovered in burning vehicle

Two men have been arrested and charged with murder after Mississippi firefighters discovered a body inside a burning vehicle.
The Jackson Police Department has made two arrests in connection to the discovery of a body inside a burned vehicle on Stokes Roberson Road. Detectives arrested Jacob Falcon and Levi Falcon on Tuesday, April 8, and have charged them both with murder. Police have also stated that additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
The case began on Tuesday, March 4, when the Jackson Police Department responded to a call from the Jackson Fire Department. Firefighters had been dispatched to extinguish a fully engulfed vehicle fire on Stokes Roberson Road. After the fire was brought under control, a deceased body was found inside the vehicle.
The victim, later identified as 34-year-old Antoine Thomas of Jackson, was confirmed through DNA analysis, according to Coroner Jeramiah Howard.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the case and expect further developments.
