A man shot and killed himself in a Mississippi hotel room after shooting his teenage girlfriend and her 6-year-old daughter after a domestic dispute.

The three were in Jackson to visit the Jackson Zoo.

Police were called to a hotel on Greymont Avenue Sunday morning.

Apparently Myles Perkins, 26, had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend Marlanque Braggs, 19.

Perkins reportedly brandished a handgun and shot the sleeping 6-year-old girl twice, then shot Braggs. Then he went into the bathroom and committees suicide.

The condition of the two shooting victims was not immediately released.
