89-year-old Mississippi woman dies in weekend house fire

A weekend house fire in North Mississippi has claimed the life of an elderly woman.
Officials with the Lee County Coroner’s Office report that Evelyn Hutcheson, 89, died from smoke inhalation.
WTVA in Tupelo reports that the house fire occurred Saturday in the Blue Springs community on County Road 201 near the Lee/Union County line.
