The Gulfport Police Department has asked for the public’s help in finding the person or persons responsible for shooting a person.

GPD officers responded to the 1400 block of Genevieve Drive Sunday night. They reportedly found multiple shell casings in the street and where several bullets struck the residence.

Officers made contact with a victim who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
