Mississippi Skies: One more Christmas-like weather day before some changes come along

We’ll have one more day with sunshine and cooler temps before some changes come along. We’ve been enjoying crisp, dry breezes from the north, but Thursday will bring southerly breezes that include humidity, warmth, and moisture.
We’ve been confident many of us will have a cloudy day Christmas Eve with some rainfall, but now we’re seeing models firing up a few thunderstorms Sunday and rain showers continuing into Christmas Day. We don’t see much in the way of early maps showing severe storms, but we’ll keep a watch on that.
North Mississippi
Partly sunny with a high of 54. Partly cloudy Wednesday night with a low of 30.
Central Mississippi
Partly sunny with a high of 55. Frosty overnight with a low of 31.
South Mississippi
Partly sunny with a high of 58. Thursday night, mostly clear with frost. Low of 33.
Gulf Coast
Cloudy early, then becoming sunny with a high of 60. Clear overnight with frost. Low of 37.
