Mississippi Skies: Warmer weather Wednesday, but don’t expect the thaw to last long. More arctic air is on the way!

Wednesday will be the first time above freezing since arctic air arrived for many of us. With temperatures increasing, it’s a good time to repair any pipes or other damage from the storm. There won’t be much time, however, as another arctic blast of cold air is heading our way!
We’ll again dip into very cold temperatures Friday night, with sub-freezing temperatures reaching all the way to the Gulf Coast again. Saturday night will be extremely cold, too. This time, though, we’re not expecting the snow and ice storm to accompany the cold temps.
