A 66-year-old woman died in a three-vehicle wreck a rural Mississippi highway Friday.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol report that the fatal crash occurred on Mississippi 13 near Lumberton.

The wreck involved three vehicles. According to MHP, a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro traveling north on MS-13 collided with a 2007 Lincoln MKZ, also, traveling north. Soon after, a 2018 Honda Accord traveling south the highway collided with the Lincoln.

Tammy Ford, 66, who was driving the Lincoln, died from injuries sustained in the wreck.

Reports of other injuries in the wreck have not been released.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate the wreck.
