Mississippi woman arrested after her children test positive for controlled substances

A Mississippi woman has been arrested after her children tested positive for controlled substances.
Tupelo Police served an arrest warrant on Alexandria N. Barker on April 24 in connection with a January 2023 incident involving four juveniles reported by the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services.
Barker has been charged with four counts of Child Endangerment – Child Testing Positive for Controlled Substance.
Barker was held on a $10,000 bond that Lee County Circuit Court issued at the time the warrant was issued.
This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
