One person killed, one person transported to hospital after 3 a.m. crash at Mississippi intersection

One person was killed, and one person was injured in a 3 a.m. collision at a Mississippi intersection Tuesday.
WTVA in Tupelo reports that the one-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Mississippi 25 and US 82 in Starkville.
According to Starkville police, two men were inside a sedan when it left the roadway.
One person died at the scene, and the other person was transported to the hospital with injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
