More than 40,000 customers are without power after strong storms moved across south Mississippi Monday morning.
The website poweroutage.us indicates that most outages are in Jefferson, Adams, Claiborne, Franklin, Lincoln, and Lawrence counties.
As of 8 a.m., Entergy and other power providers in south Mississippi report that more than 40,000 are without power.
Entergy reports that more than 10,000 customers have been affected by the outages. Southwest Mississippi EPA reports that 9,800 customers are without power.
