Two people injured in shooting at Mississippi Walmart

Two people were shot outside a Mississippi Walmart Tuesday night.
WDAM in Hattiesburg reports that the shooting occurred at the Walmart Supercenter on Old 63 South in Lucedale shortly before 10 p.m.
Officials with the Lucedale Police Department report that a man fired three to four rounds at another man near the grocery store entrance.
Police say two Black males, one wearing a hoodie and another wearing a tank top, entering the grocery entrance turned and started backing out of the store when another man approached the entrance.
The man wearing a hoodie reportedly pulled out a gun and then fired shots, and appeared to strike the man approaching the store in the shoulder.
Police say one of the bullets that were fired in the incident reportedly struck a customer in the foot as she was leaving the store.
The two Black males reportedly fled the scene and drove away.
The man who was shot in the shoulder and the woman who was shot in the foot were sent to local hospitals for medical care.
Persons of interest have been identified, police say.
