One person died after the car he was driving crashed into a freight truck.

Officials from the Mississippi Highway Patrol report that Marvin Dunn Jr., 41, of Memphis, received fatal injuries when his car collided with the rear of the truck on Highway 302.

Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene, MHP reports.

The crash remains under investigation.
