Mississippi man accused of enticing child then using vehicle to strike utility vehicle occupied by child’s father

A Mississippi man has been arrested after he reportedly attempted to entice a child and then used his vehicle to strike a utility vehicle occupied by the child’s father.
Officials with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department report that on June 13, 2024, deputies responded to the Auburn Community for a reported aggravated assault incident.
When deputies arrived, they learned that the suspect, Kenneth Clardy, was visiting a friend’s home when he made comments of a sexual nature to a juvenile.
When confronted by the juvenile’s father, Clardy got into his vehicle to leave the property. Clardy used his vehicle to strike the UTV/ATV that was occupied by the father of the juvenile, pushing the UTV into the ditch and causing minor injuries to the driver of the UTV.
Upon further investigation by investigators, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Kenneth Clardy, for Enticement of a Child and Aggravated Assault.
