A 64-year-old Mississippi man died in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.

WTVA in Tupelo reports that Dale Shepherd, 64, of Caledonia, was killed in a two-car crash at the intersection of Highway 12 and Woodlawn Road in Lowndes County.

The crash reportedly occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday when Shepherd, driving a Chevy pickup truck, was hit by another truck entering the highway from Sander’s Mill Road.

Shepherd’s truck overturned, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner said.
