Police looking for man who shot cousin at weekend family gathering in Mississippi park

Police are on the lookout for a Mississippi man accused of shooting his cousin during a family gathering.

The incident occurred at Duncan Park in Natchez on Saturday, Aug. 17, around 6:45 p.m., according to a report by The Natchez Democrat.

Natchez Police Chief Cal Green identified the suspect as Reginald Rodgers, who allegedly shot his cousin, Marcus Lawrence, before fleeing the scene. Lawrence was transported to the hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
