Postal worker killed in two-vehicle crash on rural Mississippi highway

A tragic two-vehicle collision in Grenada County on Saturday claimed the life of a Mississippi postal worker, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP).
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Highway 7 as two vehicles traveling north collided. The crash resulted in the death of 53-year-old Loretta Hopkins, a postal worker who was driving a Mercedes van, the MHP reported.
At this time, the MHP has not released information on any other injuries related to the incident. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
