Police say a stabbing victim who went to a Mississippi hospital for treatment refuses to cooperate with police.
The Natchez Democrat reports that = police responded to a call at Merit Health Natchez around 10:14 p.m. Sunday night after reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim who was uncooperative and refused to provide details about the incident, including who stabbed him or where it occurred.
According to Natchez Police Department Commander Jerry Ford, the victim had been stabbed multiple times, but his injuries were described as non-life-threatening and “mostly superficial.”
Despite the victim’s refusal to cooperate, the Natchez Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident. “We are still looking into it,” Ford stated.
Police are seeking any additional information that may assist in identifying the assailant or uncovering the circumstances of the stabbing.
